When we were camping at Heaven's
Up North in August 2000 for the second year of vacationing there,
we decided that we liked the area and the campground so much that
we would take a seasonal site. We found out that a trailer was
available so we decided to purchase it. The previous owners
have now become very good friends of ours. When we made the
deal it became a joke that we purchased Cal's fire poker and the trailer
just went along.
In 2004 we decided it was time to update and
get a different trailer. This time as we looked and decided
to puchase our "new" trailer, there was a set of flamingos in the
yard of the owner. (Imagine that!) Of course now they have become
the most expensive flamingos I own...as we jokingly say...we bought
the flamingos and they threw in the trailer to seal the deal.
