This year we had our "family" Christmas together on Sunday, December 26th. It was a great way to end the Christmas Season opening a few last gifts as a family and having a meal together. We enjoyed having some real food after eating most of our food off a cracker for the previous few days.
Everyone liked their gifts but Skylar seemed to be the focus of the day. Christmas brings joys with giving and we all enjoyed what we had to give each other. Even if the gifts were small they were filled with lots of meaning.
We had taken our Santa hat pictures on Christmas Eve after church so we made sure that they hadtheir pictures too. Skylar even took a special one in a funny Santa hat.
Last year Skylar showed us where her and mommy put her little nativity set...this year she seemed to gaze at her newest nativity piece with wonder. Can't you just see her imagining where her angel will go?
Grandpa even let Skylar turn him into an Elf - complete with candy cane ears!
