Once
again when Christmas is over...my special gifts still continue on
in to the New Year. The gift of my friends that I share all year.
Each year our "Heavenly Family" comes home for the Holidays
too. This year the group was quite a bit smaller and different
than the previous years but friendships continue to grow. We
ended the old year with a New Year's Eve/ Anniversary supper
out and then sat around the fire with friends as we toasted in the New
Year.
We had lots of falling snow and
shoveling to do but we didn't mind because we had fun too. We spent
some time getting to know the new campground owners and
even "caught" them at work. And even though of neighbors and
good friends Doug and Jean couldn't spend New Year's Eve with us,
they joined us at our fire on Saturday for awhile. Dennis enjoyed
a nap by the fire and me...well I'm always on the look out for bears...I
thought I might find one if I blended in a little better. Didn't fool
them though...they kept winter napping no matter what I tried.
