My Christmas Season starts
off with Holiday Tables. A very special ladies function held
at my church that kicks off the season and sets the holiday mood for
me. Empty tables are set up in the gym and individual ladies
sign up to be "hostess" for a table. Each table is decorated
by the hostess. The food for each table is different from the next. Sometimes
guests will bring part of the meal, other times food is provided
totally by the hostess. In the past I have done a table or two
but not this year. This year again I was a guest at my sister
Julie's and mom's table. Didn't they do a great job?
This year
was very special because not only could I join my mom and my sister
at the Holiday Tables event but my daughter Allison and Joel's
friend Jodi joined us. We were able to share the special night
together as a family along with friends of my mom and some cousins.

with snowflakes surrounding him. Mom chose poinsettias for hers.
