We were married on New Year's Eve at midnight thinking it would be an easy day to remember over the years.  Little did we realize that getting married exactly at midnight one year made it officially the "next day" legally when we got married...so hince...not as easy as we thought  to remember. It crossed over to the New Year and become "officially" January 1, 1993 instead of December 31, 1992.

Paul and Wanda made us a special supper at the parsonage and just before midnight we walked across the street and joined another couple, Bill and Mary Kay Fulmer who were standing up for us.  In the quietness of the snowy, wintry night at the stroke of midnight we said our vows.
Our Wedding
Family
The little country church where Dennis's cousins wife, Wanda, was the minister is in Rosendale, Wisconsin. It was a very small ceremony as not all of our kids were thrilled about our wedding.  We decided to keep it simple and not have many people there.

After the ceremony we went to our good friend's home in Brandon for the Annual New Year's Eve gathering.  They greeted us with a wedding cake to celebrate our special day.
