On Christmas Eve we went to my sister Julie's house in Bristol for our traditional Christmas Eve supper. It was a perfect snowy Christmas Eve. After eating dinner we met Joel and Jodi are church for the 10 p.m. Candlelight Service.  Jodi's never attended a Candle light Service before.  It's something I have done almost every year of my life and starts of Christmas in the right way for me.  I love seeing the candles being lighted spreading the candle light throughtout the sanctuary.  Like most years Kris and the girls were there along with my parents. It's a service that always brings on such fond memories for me and yes, a few tears thinking of those who can't be there with us.

CHRISTMAS DAY - After a quiet start to the morning we went to Racine for more family time with my Aunt Norma and Aunt Charlene with her family.

We looked at some lights on the way home and headed to my house for a little quiet time before Christmas morning comes. We took our "Santa Hat" pictures under our Christmas Trees and opened gifts with Joel and Jodi.  Again this year I had several trees...my Memory Tree as I call it because it holds ornaments filled with memories, my Kitchen Cookie Cutter Tree, and of course, my Pink Flamingo Tree. I like my old-fashioned Santa and Snowman lights too, they are like ones my parents always had at their house.  Julie has mom and dad's under her tree.
