Over
the years, celebrating special occasions (mostly birthdays) in our
lives with homemade cakes has become another family tradition. Some
weren't "real" special but they meant a lot none the less and have
left the girls wanting to continue and improve on the tradition.
As I'm sure you can tell...they have gotten more creative over the
years than their mom.
Recently,
I have made a few special cakes too for "milestone" birthdays.
The one below was for Dennis's 60th birthday, the one on the
right for Joel's 35th.
